MailVision®
MailVision is a software platform
that allows the design of flexible and versatile solutions to supervise and
control the processing of high-volume document and mail-kit production.
The MailVision solutions:
• Eliminate a significant portion of
the labor associated with quality control for complex, high-value

Solutions
The Multiple Match solutions compare
personalized information and guarantee that this information complies with
the pre-defined set of business rules.
The matching occurs in real time
between the different components, and can be numeric to numeric,
alphanumeric to alphanumeric, numeric to alphanumeric (using a data source)
and alphanumeric to data source.
These solutions can be setup to
delay/shift the matching between each component and to perform a partial
match between each component’s personalized information.
These solutions provide full
traceability and reporting features, guaranteeing 100% integrity of the
whole process.
The Selective solutions are designed
to address the database segmentation growing requirements.
These solutions start by reading
some unique identifier that may, or may not include the selective
information.
When it includes it, this can be
presented in variable formats (e.g., bit-coded). When it does not, the
information is used to lookup an ODBC data source that will contain the
selective information.
The piece is tracked down during the
whole process from entrance to exit, and the selective outputs configurable
timings are activated when needed.
These solutions provide full
traceability and reporting features, guaranteeing 100% integrity of the
whole process.
The Selective and Match solutions
combine the Multiple Match and the Selective solutions.
These flexible and versatile
solutions are totally configurable and allow the selective and match
solutions to be completely independent or directly related. When
independent the selective components do not have personalized information.
When the selective components have personalized information, this can be
used for matching purposes when the component is selected.
The Match & Print solutions
combine the Multiple Match and the Read & Print solutions.
The combination of the match &
print creates a very flexible turn key solution that addresses a larger
range of potential applications.
Totally configurable, this solution
can be setup as a simple match or a simple read and print.
Optionally, a second reading device
can be used after the printer to verify the integrity of the printed piece.
These solutions provide full
traceability and reporting features, guaranteeing 100% integrity of the
whole process.
The Address Block solutions verify
the integrity of a mail-kit address block preventing mail-kits with invalid
address blocks to be mailed.
These solutions capture an image of
the piece that contains an address block and verifies that the address
block is readable. The solution assumes that the address block is valid if
the Postnet code is readable.
On an error, the piece can be marked
for divert or the system can be halted and the operator informed of the
error.
All of the job’s data,
including any exceptions, are logged providing the solution with 100%
integrity and traceability.
The Base Stock solutions verify that
the correct stock is being used for the specified job.
These solutions can have one or more
reading devices (alphanumeric character fonts, 1D and 2D barcodes) and
verify that each reading has the expected information. This information is
input to the system during the job setup, either by manually input or by
sample reading.
On error the solution automatically
stops the processing line and alerts the operator.
All of the job’s data,
including any exceptions, are logged providing the solution with 100%
integrity and traceability.
The Read & Print solutions are
allow variable data printing in real time, based on the reading of a unique
piece identifier.
These solutions read a unique piece
identifier, obtain the printing data from an ODBC data source and
delay/shift print that data on most ink jet printing systems.
These solutions are also responsible
for tracking each piece read and provide the printer with the correct data
when necessary. This guarantees total independence from the printer used.
Optionally, a second reading device
can be used after the printer to verify the integrity of the printed piece.
These solutions provide full
traceability and reporting features, guaranteeing 100% integrity of the
whole process.
The Sequence Verification solutions
verify that each piece is processed in the correct order, defined by a set
of configurable parameters or by information provided by a data source.
These solutions can also include
additional validations on each piece, such as validating certain piece
features based on pre-defined expected features.
On error the solution automatically
stops the processing line and alerts the operator.
All of the job’s data,
including any exceptions, are logged providing the solution with 100%
integrity and traceability.
The Grouping solutions verify the
correct accumulation of a set of similar pieces.
These solutions can have one or more
reading devices (e.g. alphanumeric OCR, 1D and/or 2D barcode reading).
These solutions can also verify if the set are accumulated in a certain,
configurable, sequence order.
On error the solution automatically
stops the processing line and alerts the operator.
All of the job’s data,
including any exceptions, are logged providing the solution with 100%
integrity and traceability.
